Melanie Dancer is an experienced governance adviser, accredited mediator and investigator with more than 25 years’ experience across policing, government, human services and the not-for-profit sector.Her career has been built around helping people and organisations navigate complexity - whether leading organisational change, strengthening governance and compliance, resolving conflict, reviewing services or responding to sensitive complaints and risks.She brings extensive experience in executive leadership, community consultation, disability and aged care, psychological safety, investigations and trauma-informed engagement. She has worked alongside boards, business owners, employees, volunteers, government agencies and communities to turn difficult issues into practical and sustainable action.Melanie holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Leadership and is an AMDRAS-accredited mediator and Professional Member of the Resolution Institute.Sometimes the clearest way forward begins with a fresh perspective.
